Waldo women in the West Gallery

"Women Artists of Midcoast Maine" is on view through Dec. 12 in the West Gallery of River Arts, Route 1. There will be a public reception for the artists, all from Waldo County, Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. Women Artists of Midcoast Maine is a group of women from the Belfast area who banded together several years ago to support and promote their artwork. The artists have different backgrounds and styles, but their unity comes from their love of, and commitment to, art.
