SWAN Day heads to the Midcoast

This 11th annual international SWAN Day is set for Saturday, March 31, and {elbow room} will mark it with a special evening of readings led by acclaimed Maine playwright Carol Gage at Waterfall Arts, 256 High St. SWAN stands for Support Women Artists Now Day. The long-term goal of SWAN Day, according to its cofounder Martha Richards, is to inspire communities to recognize and support female artists "as a basic element of civic planning."
