Police cruiser, van destroyed in Route 1 wreck
Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye said Barbara Cook, 62, of Searsport was driving west on West Main Street at 12:34 p.m. when her 2014 Chrysler Town & Country van started to fishtail after she hit a 30-foot section of the snow-covered road. At the same time, Michael Larrivee, 41, of Troy was heading east toward Belfast in a 2012 Dodge Charger, which is owned by the town of Stockton Springs, and saw Cook's vehicle as it started to fishtail.
