Maine Ocean School update

The Maine Ocean School, a planned public magnet high school, is making progress toward its goal of opening in the fall of 2018. As part of the state budget, the school is guaranteed funding from the Department of Education under the same formula as charter schools, according to Searsport Town Manager James Gillway.
