Lost Kitchen' cookbook launch

Erin French, founder and owner of the acclaimed restaurant The Lost Kitchen in Freedom, will celebrate the release of her first cookbook Tuesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at Left Bank Books, 109 Church St. French will give a talk and sign copies of "The Lost Kitchen: Recipes and a Good Life Found in Freedom, Maine," which will be released that day. "The Lost Kitchen" reflects French's emphasis on seasonal, and local, foods.
