Belfast rises early; puts shopping, tree lighting to bed

The second day of December was a busy one in Belfast. Shoppers crowded into downtown shops before sunrise for the annual Early Bird Sale, and revelers stuck around after sunset for the lighting of the city's Christmas tree.
