Alan Simpson: Comments from Baroness were untimely and cruel

As a former RUC detective superintendent who served at the coalface of anti-terror policing for 25 years, I'm shocked to the core by the untimely and cruel outburst by former Police Ombudsman Nuala O'Loan concerning the Omagh bombing, when she belatedly claims that the massacre could have been prevented.
