A tale of The Troubles

May's Friday Night Flix at the Belfast Free Library features Recent Irish Films. The series screens free movies, gathered from the collection in the Maine library's system, most Fridays at 7 p.m. in the Abbott Room of the library, 106 High St. On May 12, Karen Gleeson and Paul Sheridan have selected "'71" , an almost documentary feature about a young British soldier who, at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland in 1971, becomes separated from his unit in the midst of a dangerous riot.
