Guilty verdict for hammer attack accused

A 37-year old woman was remanded in custody today after she was found guilty by a jury of blinding another woman in a hammer attack. Following a trial held this week at Belfast Crown Court, Samantha Goldring, from Tynan Drive in Newtownabbey, was convicted today of causing the other woman grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.
