Date set for Freedom of Borough ceremony

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is to confer the Honorary Freedom of the Borough on Joan Christie CVO OBE, Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the County of Antrim. Councillors agreed on the prestigious award to the Queen's official representative at a meeting of the local authority last year.
