UK and Japan promise more telecoms collaboration

The UK and Japan have announced their intention to work together more closely on solving telecoms supply chain issues and developing new technologies such as 6G and OpenRAN.
The UK Minister for Digital Infrastructure Julia Lopez and Japan’s Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Yuji Sasaki (pictured above) met last week and agreed on some joint initiatives designed in part to ‘reduce the global over-reliance on a small number of suppliers to build and m
