The Tower of London moat is getting a slide

This summer, a giant metal slide is being installed in the moat of the Tower of London so people can whizz down to the bottom for a walk through the moat.
It’s part of the previously announced Superbloom, a project that will fill the moat with millions of flowers for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. While people will be able to walk down into the moat through more conventional means, they decided to install a slide as well, because it’s fun.
