TfL intensifies crackdown on fare evasion with new campaigns and prosecutions

Transport for London (TfL) is increasing efforts to clamp down on fare fraud on London’s public transport with new advertising and, where caught, prosecutions.

The recent Commissioner’s Report into TfL’s performance said that fare evasion had declined slightly over the past year to an estimated 3.8 percent of journeys, but naturally, they want to get it down further.
Along with increased ticket checking on trains and buses, TfL will be launchin
