T-Mobile, Nokia, and Qualcomm Reach Record 1.175 Gbps Download Speeds in Advanced LTE Lab Trial

In a new worldwide industry first, T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS),Nokia (NYSE: NOK),and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated(NASDAQ: QCOM),have exceeded gigabit speeds using evolved, commercially available 4GLTE technology. In tests at T-Mobile's lab last week, download speeds of1.175 Gbps were achieved on T-Mobile's LTE network utilizing Nokia's4.9G network powered by the Nokia AirScale Base Station together withthe Snapdragon X20 LTE modem.Click here for more.
