Stratford’s abandoned Sphere site could become giant bus-themed food market

The empty plot of land that had been a possible site of a glowing Sphere could instead be filled with a boxpark-style temporary food venue, with 40 double-decker buses on it.

After permission for the MSG Sphere was refused in 2023, the empty plot next to Stratford station was put up for sale and bought by the privately owned Hallmark Property Group last year for a reputed £30-£40 million.
They are now applying for temporary meanwhile permission to use the site
