Seeing inside the derelict Bishopsgate Goodsyard arches

A set of industrial gates was recently unlocked, allowing people to enter a central London space that has been derelict for 60 years.This is the Bishopsgate Goodsyard, one of the largest plots of undeveloped land in central London. Amazingly, it has been empty and largely unused since a devastating fire gutted the site in December 1964.
The station opened in phases from 1840 as the London terminus of the Eastern Counties Railway (ECR), which thought the location ideal for bringing food in from t
