Piccadilly line to remain suspended between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge until mid-January

Piccadilly line services, which have been suspended between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge for several weeks, will not be restored until mid-January 2025.Transport for London (TfL) also says that it will have to operate a reducedPiccadilly line service between Acton Town and Rayners Lane, with trains running approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day until mid-January.
The problems stem from unusually heavy leaf fall this year, which caused extensive damage to train wheels and means they have
