Paddington tube station’s new step-free entrance has opened

The Bakerloo line platforms at Paddington Station have some new signs today, pointing to something they’ve not had before – lifts to the surface ticket hall.

As part of the Paddington Cube office development above ground, London Underground was able to negotiate a new entrance to its tube station, which not only substantially increased capacity at the entrances but also added step-free access to the Bakerloo line.
