New student accommodation approved for the Square Mile

A large student housing block with a public viewing roof terrace has been approved to be built next to the Holborn Viaduct, however, it’s being built instead of the green wall wrapped hotel that had been planned on the site.

The student accommodation development will include 644 student rooms, of which 230 (over 35%) will be affordable, on the first to twelfth floor. The ground and lower ground floors will house cultural and community spaces.
