Museum of the Home unveils rooms from the Past and Future
Four new rooms of the past and one new room of the future have opened at the Museum of the Home, giving glimpses into the private homes of various Londoners.
Stepping slightly away from the classic upper middle-class homes of the times before the 20th century, the new rooms are closer to the homes that most people would have lived in, from post-war flats to modern flatshares.
The new rooms are in the museum’s new(ish) extension, so they have a bit more space to play with than the older spa
