MTN to migrate OSS/BSS to Microsoft Azure

South Africa-based MTN has joined the growing list of telcos that are making the move to public cloud.
The company on Monday announced it has embarked on a programme of work to migrate various systems to Microsoft Azure. It is called Project Nephos, and its principle aim is to deliver maximum value as early as possible by identifying the workloads most suited to being redeployed on Azure.
