Linux Foundation unveils open source digital wallet consortium

The OpenWallet Foundation has been established to work on an open source software engine for anyone to use to make interoperable digital wallets.
As the name implies, digital wallets attempt to take the place of physical ones by storing the details of payment cards, vouchers, receipts and other things you might previously have stuffed into your physical wallet.
