Jimmy Somerville donates memorabilia to Queer Britain

In 1984, Bronski Beat, released their debut album, The Age of Consent, in response to the age of consent for gay men, which at the time in the UK was 21 years old.
Now, there’s a small exhibition of items donated by their lead singer, Jimmy Somerville to the Queer Britain museum gallery.The display includes T-Shirts from the ACT-UP campaign, a customised Levi’s jacket, hand typed lyrics to Bronski Beat track ‘Screaming’ and promotional posters for ‘Smalltown Boy&rsq
