Improved ticket gate access complete for Peckham Rye station

Although Peckham Rye station’s main upgrade is on hold, Network Rail has carried out some modest improvements to the station, including a wider ticket gateline.
The gateline had four barriers, but during busy times the station often ended up with queues on both sides. This has now been widened to six gates. It’s not the huge upgrade that was planned, but as a retailer might say – every little helps.
