Four companies shortlisted to operate the Elizabeth line

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed four bidders have been shortlisted to operate the Elizabeth line when the current contract expires in May 2025.The Elizabeth line is currently operated by MTR Elizabeth line (MTREL), which was awarded the contract in 2014, initially to operate the TfL Rail services and later the full Elizabeth line.
