First images of possible step-free upgrade for West Hampstead tube station

Preliminary plans have been shown for what West Hampstead tube station could look like when it is eventually upgraded with step-free access, as part of a wider redevelopment of the area.
The station is on the Jubilee line and has only a small entrance leading to steps down to an island platform. The entrance is too small for its current passenger numbers, and the station doesn’t have any step-free access. As it’s also very close to West Hampstead’s Overground and Thameslink sta
