Exhibition shows off when hospital surgery really was a theatre

The operating theatre is one of the most familiar settings in medicine, although most people would prefer not to encounter one while conscious. A new exhibition at the Hunterian Museum now takes a look at this rarely seen space where experts work while we slumber.
