DLR trains slow down as TfL reviews signalling system, affecting some routes
The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) trains are running slower in some places at the moment after Transport for London (TfL) decided to review some of the signalling systems that control train speeds.The DLR system has two maximum speeds, the usual one set in the timetable and an absolute top speed for each section of track. TfL felt that the margin between the two was no longer suitable, so as a precaution, they’re slowing the trains in some parts of the network.
