CommScope and Parallel Wireless ramp up OpenRAN activity

CommScope and Parallel Wireless have revealed in separate announcements how they are taking their involvement in OpenRAN to the next level.
It may only be February but OpenRAN developments are coming thick and fast this year – the news comes a day after it emerged that major OpenRAN backer Vodafone has a €225 million plan to design OpenRAN chips.
Antenna maker CommScope has signed up to Meta Connectivity’s (formerly Facebook Connectivity) Evenstar programme, a joint effort to sp
