Arrow Electronics Reports Second-Quarter Results

Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) today reported second-quarter 2017sales of $6.47 billion, an increase of 8 percent from sales of $5.97billion in the second quarter of 2016. Second-quarter net income of $100million, or $1.11 per share on a diluted basis, compared with net incomeof $134 million, or $1.45 per share on a diluted basis, in the secondquarter of 2016. Excluding certain items1, net income wouldhave been $160 million, or $1.78 per share on a diluted basis, in thesecond quarter of 2017
