Arrest in TfL cyber hack attack as TfL warns of customer data leak

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of a cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL) earlier this month, just as TfL had had to warn that customer details, including bank accounts, may have been leaked.The cyber attack was detected on Sunday September 1st, and TfL blocked access to some of its online and office services while it investigated. Although TfL initially said they didn’t expect customer data to have been compromised, they now suspect it has been.
