A decade of London’s bus hopper fare

London’s Hopper bus fare turns ten this weekend, having been used for more than 1.4 billion free bus and tram changes since its introduction.

Launched on 12th September 2016, the fare lets passengers paying by Oyster or contactless make additional bus and tram journeys without paying again, provided they touch in within an hour of their first journey.
