Underground hydrogen storage pilot gets funding boost
National Gas and Gravitricity have secured £500,000 from Ofgem to develop a new type of underground hydrogen storage.The H2FlexiStore system, designed by Edinburgh-based energy storage firm Gravitricity, aims to store up to 100 tonnes of green hydrogen in lined geological shafts.
