Norwegian nuclear waste to be recycled in the UK

Storage and disposal of nuclear waste have always been the major challenges for scientists who are struggling to discover long-term and sustainable solutions.
But what if this waste could be recycled into new fuel?
The Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) in Norway has agreed to send three tonnes of unused uranium to the British fuel manufacturing business Springfields Fuels Limited, to produce new nuclear fuel to be used in commercial nuclear power plants.
