Do social workers support assisted dying?

Most social workers support the legalisation of assisted dying, a Community Care poll has found.
The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, which will be voted on in the House of Commons this week, would enable adults to receive assistance to end their lives.
The government has confirmed it will “remain neutral” on the bill, introduced by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater, with all MPs able to vote freely on the second reading of the bill, on 29 November 2024.
