US stocks climb to end the week higher as recovery optimism grows

US stocks closed higher Friday as the optimism of economic recovery continues to grow.The Personal Consumption Expenditures price index gained 0.6% through April as American spending rebounded.
Oil prices were mixed, gold rose, and cryptocurrencies slipped.
