There's a simple reason why Tesla can't compete with other high-performance car brands (TSLA)

Tesla CEO Elon Musk taunted the BMW M3 when announcing a high-performance version of the Model 3.
The Tesla would be faster from 0-60 mph.
But the BMW M3 would still be a far better track car.Tesla makes very effective drag-racing cars. The fastest Model S sedan — the P100D — in Ludicrous Mode can blast from 0-60 mph in under 2.3 seconds.
