The euro's had a rough week.
The currency is down by 0.5% at 1.0833 against the dollar as of 12:11 p.m. ET.
Friday marks the fifth consecutive session that the euro has tumbled, in contrast to last week when it gained four out of five days. It's nearing its lowest levels since January.
