Jeff Bezos announced Tuesday in a letter to staff that he's stepping down as CEO later this year.
Bezos said he will be executive chairman and will focus on "new products and early initiatives."
Bezos told employees to "keep inventing" and to "let curiosity be your compass. It remains Day 1."
