NATO fighter jets intercepted several Russian aircraft over the Baltics on July 29.
Among them were two Il-22PP Porubshchik electronic-warfare aircraft, designated the Il-22PP "Mute" by NATO.
It was the first time NATO aircraft have intercepted the Mute in that region.
