How to delete your Facebook account on a computer or phone and save all your personal data

Your Facebook account can be deleted in two ways.

To delete your Facebook account, you'll need to head to your account settings menu using the website or app.
Before you delete your Facebook account, you'll have the chance to download all your photos, posts, and other data.
It can take up to 90 days for Facebook to erase your data, and logging back in within 30 days will restore your account.
