GM's recent sales miss isn't as bad as it looks (GM)

Automakers are reporting June sales on Friday, and so far they've been mostly solid, setting a 2016 sales pace that would see over 17 million new cars and trucks sold by the end of 2016.
General Motors saw sales decline 1.7% in June versus the same month last year, about as much as twice what was expected by analysts.
Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, meanwhile, were up about 6.5%.
