Elon Musk's Boring Company finally has a paying customer for its first tunnel project

Las Vegas has tapped Elon Musk's Boring Company to build a one-mile tunnel underneath its downtown convention center. 
The tunnel will connect one end of the building to the other, at a cost of $48 million, the city's convention and visitor's authority said in a press release.
