The Charlotte Observer's editorial board slammed Rep. Madison Cawthorn as "an embarrassment."
The board asked, "Can someone please keep Madison Cawthorn away from the cameras?"
Cawthorn was rebuked for building his Washington staff around communications instead of policy.
