Bacardi to take control of premium tequila brand Patrón in $5.1bn deal
Bacardi has bought  premium tequila brand Patrón Spirits International in a deal that attaches an enterprise value of $5.1 billion. The spirit giant already owns 30% of Patrón, which it purchased in 2008, but the transaction will mean that they control 100 per cent of the business it announced on Monday.
