Australia's extreme lockdown brought coronavirus cases in its epicenter to zero. It may also have prevented a third wave.

Australia recorded zero new coronavirus cases in Victoria, the epicenter of its outbreak, on Monday and Tuesday.
Victoria imposed aggressive lockdown measures in July as cases began to climb. 
For 111 days, Melbourne residents were only allowed to leave home for essential purposes like exercising or grocery shopping.
