‘Anaemic’ purchase intentions temper consumer confidence increase
Consumer confidence was up two points in September, in spite of the looming Brexit deadline, with all five measures of GfK’s consumer confidence index increasing.
That said, confidence remains in negative territory at -12 and views on the wider economy are still poor.
