Watch: Iceland tests in-store robots to boost retail media

Iceland has trialled an in-store robot as it seeks to bolster its retail media offering.
The machine, which is a repurposed hospitality robot produced be Neos Robotics, roams supermarket aisles. It can be used to showcase items, promote offers, and encourage customers to join the retailer’s loyalty scheme.  
The supermarket tested the system at its innovation store at its Deeside HQ earlier in the year, The Grocer reported.
