Liberty MD departs after 15-year spell

The managing director of luxury London department store Liberty, Sarah Coonan has left her role after an extended 15-year spell with the firm.
She will officially leave the high-end retailer on 31 January 2026, having held a range of senior positions since joining in 2010, including head of buying for beauty, home and ‘little Liberty’, as well as buying director.
“After 15 years at Liberty, it’s been an enormous privilege to be part of such an extraordinary establishment.
