John Lewis mulls first new department stores in ten years

John Lewis is considering launching new department stores for the first time in almost ten years.
Speaking to The Guardian, the brand’s managing director Peter Ruis said that expansion was “definitely something we are looking at”.
“The store is a perfect invention, and we’ve seen only too well, coming back from Covid, how people have gravitated back to the stores,” he said.
Ruis noted there were “definitely no plans to close anything” and that ther
